DAMN!
I was just working on a quite large project - some music related emoticon things, finished pixeling two speakers (!) and was animating a equaliser in the background when suddenly... photoshop crashed!
And i didn't even save the file!
GRAMLDAMNSCREWIT!
well, so no music related big pixel work from me this time...

Windows 8 Developer preview review
After installing the Windows 8 Developer Preview, I see four major changes:
The Explorer got the (in my oppinion better) Ribbon UI - http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2624208/Screenshots/windows-8/explorer.png
The Taskmanager got completely redone - http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2624208/Screenshots/windows-8/taskman.png
And the startmenu is now completely tablet-oriented (which I guess I'll have to get used to) - http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2624208/Screenshots/windows-8/startmenu.png
Also, the "new hardware found" screen got a Metro UI - http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2624208/Screenshots/windows-8/new-disk.png
The whole system seems a bit faster though I haven't r

Every designer should know them, and if not - even better, than you lern something new.
In this (although it is german - the language is really clear... if not, just ask me) article I have submitted all packs that I kept on my computer over my months and years of webdesigning :D

Searching sponsors!
Hi there!
I plan hosting an design contest on my Homepage. Of course I will announce it here as well and it'll be held in German and English :)
The problem why I'm writing this is: I have no sponsors - no prices at all. Of course I could buy them all by myself but that wouldn't be that great :D
So if you have a price for yourself or know someone [best posibility would be a bigger company - I'd then write a small article on their products ^^] that would like to sponsor some prices, then please please please comment here or write me a note.
